A/50/PV.127 General Assembly
The meeting was called to order at 4.50 p.m.
Programme of work
Members will recall that, at its 3rd plenary meeting, on 22 September 1995, the Assembly decided that the fiftieth session would close on Monday, 16 September 1996.
Owing to the lack of necessary documentation for this afternoon’s meeting, and also on account of the lateness of the hour, I should like to propose that the General Assembly extend the date of the closing of the fiftieth session to tomorrow morning, Tuesday, 17 September 1996. If I hear no objection, I shall take it that the General Assembly agrees to this proposal.
It was so decided.
The General Assembly will therefore meet tomorrow at 10 a.m. to take up the items remaining on the agenda of the fiftieth session and to close the fiftieth session.
The fifty-first session of the Assembly will thus open tomorrow, Tuesday, 17 September 1996, at 3 p.m.
The meeting rose at 4.55 p.m.
