The Security Council will now begin its consideration of the item OII its agenda. Membars of tbe Council have before them advance copies of document S/23177, containing the tent of a letter dated 30 October 1991 from the representatives of France and Indonesia to the United Nations addressed to the Secretary-General, and document S/23179, containing a note by the Secretary-General on Cambodia. Members of the Council also have before them document S/23180, which contains the text of a draft resolution prepared in the courw of the Council's consultations. It is my understanding that the Council is ready to proceed to the vote on the draft resolution before it. Unless I hear any objection, I shall put the draft resolution to the vote now. The draft resolution has been adopted unanimously, as resolution 718 (1991). The Security Council has thus concluded the present staga of its consideration of the item on its agenda.
