Adoption of the agenda
The agenda was adopted.
Establishment of an international tribunal for the prosecution of persons responsible for serious violations of international humanitarian law committed in the territory of the former Yugoslavia Appointment of the Prosecutor
The Security Council will now begin its consideration of the item on its agenda.
The Security Council is meeting in accordance with the understanding reached in its prior consultations.
It is my understanding that the Council is ready to adopt the draft resolution before it without a vote. Unless I hear any objection, I shall take it that the draft resolution is adopted.
There being no objection, the draft resolution has been adopted as resolution 936 (1994).
The Security Council has thus concluded the present stage of its consideration of the item on the agenda.
