Members of the Council have before them document S/2007/171, which contains the text of a
draft resolution prepared in the course of the Council’s prior consultations. Members also have before them document S/2007/150, which contains a letter dated 15 March 2007 from the Secretary-General transmitting the seventh report of the International Independent Investigation Commission.
I wish to draw the attention of members to document S/2007/159, which contains a letter dated 20 March 2007 from the Chargé d’affaires of the Permanent Mission of Lebanon addressed to the Secretary-General.
It is my understanding that the Council is ready to proceed to the vote on the draft resolution before it. Unless I hear any objection, I shall put the draft resolution to the vote now.
There being no objection, it is so decided.
