In the light of the facts which have been sa cleariy recited by the representative of France, my Government considers that the States of Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam fully qualify for membership in the United Nations. As was the case Wîth the representative of Greece, we feel that, in their capacity as representatives of Asia, these·States should he able to make a special and valuable con- tribution ta the United Nations. The French Govern- ment can justifiably claim credit for bringing these States forward into a position where they qualify sa clearly for membership. 103. My delegatinn will be happy to vote in fuvour of the three draft resolutions which have been submitted by the delegation of France. 104. The PRESIDENT: In view of the late hour, l suggest that this meeting should now be adjourned and that the Security Council should resume its work _<J.LlQ,,:30 a.m. tomorrow. It was so decided.
