S/PV.7349 Security Council

The Security Council will now begin the consideration of the item on its agenda. The Council has before it the text of a draft statement by the President on behalf of the Council on the subject of today’s meeting. I thank the Council members for their valuable contributions to the draft statement. In accordance with the understanding reached among the members of the Council, I shall take it that the members of the Security Council agree to the draft statement, which will be issued as a document of the Security Council under the symbol S/PRST/2014/28. It is so decided. The Security Council has thus concluded the present stage of its consideration of the item on its agenda.
