Tribute to the memory of the victims of the terrorist attack in London

The President on behalf of members of the Security Council #163321
On behalf of the members of the Security Council, I would like to condemn in the strongest terms the cowardly terrorist attack that took place in London on 22 March and resulted in the death or serious injury of many innocent people. I would also like to express my sincere condolences to the families of the victims. I now invite Council members to rise to observe a minute of silence in tribute to the memory of the victims of yesterday’s attack and all other victims of terrorism throughout the world.
The members of the Security Council observed a minute of silence.

Adoption of the agenda

The agenda was adopted.
The Security Council will now begin its consideration of the item on its agenda. Members of the Council have before them document S/2017/236, which contains the text of a draft resolution submitted by the United States of America. I also wish draw the attention of Council members to document S/2017/150, which contains a note from the President of the Security Council. The Council is ready to proceed to the vote on the draft resolution before it. I shall put the draft resolution to the vote now.
A vote was taken by show of hands.
The draft resolution received 15 votes in favour. The draft resolution has been adopted unanimously as resolution 2345 (2017).
