Adoption of the agenda

The situation in Mali Letter dated 3 August 2022 from the Panel of Experts on Mali established pursuant to resolution 2374 (2017) addressed to the President of the Security Council (S/2022/595)
The Security Council will now begin its consideration of the item on its agenda.
Members of the Council have before them document S/2022/650, which contains the text of a draft resolution submitted by France and Mexico.
I wish to draw the attention of Council members to document S/2022/595, which contains the text of a
letter dated 3 August 2022 from the Panel of Experts on Mali established pursuant to resolution 2374 (2017) addressed to the President of the Security Council.
The Council is ready to proceed to the vote on the draft resolution before it. I shall put the draft resolution to the vote now.
