Maintenance of international peace and security Report of the Secretary-General on the implementation of Security Council resolution 2598 (2021) (S/2022/655)
In accordance with rule 37 of the Council’s provisional rules of procedure, I invite the representatives of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden to participate in this meeting.
The Security Council will now begin its consideration of the item on its agenda.
I should like to draw the attention of Council members to document S/2022/655, which contains the report of the Secretary-General on the implementation of Security Council resolution 2598 (2021).
Members of the Council have before them document S/2022/718, which contains a draft resolution submitted by Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
The Council is ready to proceed to the vote on the draft resolution before it. I shall put the draft resolution to the vote now.
