Resolution 489 (1981)
of 8 July 1981

The Security Council,

Having examined the application of the Republic of
Vanuatu 67 for admission to the United Nations,

Recommends to the General Assembly that the Republic
of Vanuatu should be admitted to membership in the United
Nations.

Adopted unanimously at the
2291st meeting.
