I should like to inform representatives that, at the request of the sponsors of the draft resolution on this item, the voting is postponed until tomorrow morning, as the last item.

The General Assembly will now consider the sixth report of the General Committee (A/47/250/Add.5), which concerns a request by Senegal and Morocco for the inclusion in the agenda of the current session of an additional item entitled "Convening of an international conference on Somalia". The General Committee decided to recommend to the General Assembly that the item be inc~uded in the agenda. May I take it that the General Assembly decides to include in the agenda of the current session an additional item entitled "Convening of an international conference on Somalia"? It was so decided.

The General Committee also decided to recommend that this item be considered directly in plenary meeting on a priority basis. May I take it that the General Assembly adopts this recommendation? It was so decided.

I should like to draw the attention of members to a matter relating to the date of recess. Members will recall that at the 3rd plenary meeting, o~ 18 September 1992, the General Assembly decided that the forty-seventh session should recess on 18 December 1992 and close on 20 September 1993. However, the Assembly will not be able to conclude its work tomorrow, 18 December. I should like, therefore, to propose to the Assembly that it postpone its date of recess until early nExt week.
