Before we proceed to consider the adoption oftheagenda, may Ibe permitted to propose that this meeting be adjourned until tomorrow at 10.30 a.m.. for a reason that is obvious to a11 representatives gathered here.

The principal question related to Cyprus-not the actual question of Cyprus, but the principal related question-had been debated extensively in the General Assembly’s First Committee, and 1 understand it has just decided to proceed withthe voting on several draft resolutions. 1 would therefore suggest that it might be more convenient and appropriate if we met tomorrow morning, by which time the First Committee Will bave taken decisions regarding its proceedings.
It has been proposed that we should adjourn today’s meeting and meet again tomorrow at 10.30 a.m. If there is no objection, it will be SO decided.
