L'ordre du jour est adopte.
I had hoped that we would be able to conclude our discussion and would have been able to vote on the two draft resolu~ tioIl§ before us at this moming's meeting. How~ ever, I still have three speakers on my list. I therefore propose that we should meet again this afternoon. Since there is no objection, the meetin~ is adjourned until 3 p.m. HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FIRST MEETING Held at Lake Success, New York, on Friday, 18 April 1947, at 3 p.m. President: Mr. Quo Tai-chi (China). Present: The representatives of the following countries: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Co- lombia, France, Poland, Syria, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, United Kingdom, United States of America. 136. Continuation of the discussion on the -Gr~ek-quesiion Mr. VAN LANGENHOVE (Belgium) (translated from French): The conservatory measure pro- posed by the United States representative, namely, to keep on the spot a group of the Commission of Investigation in Greece is wise. It can only have useful results. The BeIgian .delegation will vote for this proposal. So far as the financial aid asked for by Greece and Turkey is concerned, the Belgian delegation considers that it is not for the Council to pro- nounce itself on this question. Colonel HODGSON (Australia): ~ Mr. Presi- dent, we are not quite sure whether we are discussing the original statement of the United States representative, the resolution of the United States, the resolution of the Soviet Union~ the amendment proposed by the Polish representa- tive, or the proposal of the representative of- Colombia. Everybody seems to be dealing with the ~hole lot in any order. Toutefois, i1 y a encore trois orateurs inscrits. CENT·TRENTE ET UNIEME SEANCE T enue a Lake Success, New York, le vendredi 18 avri11947, a15 heures. President: M. Quo Tai-chi (Chine). ARGENTINA-ARGENTINE EdrtonalSudmnerreana S.A.
