On 30 April 1976 the Secretary- General, acting in accordance with rule 59 of the provisional rules of procedure circulated the application of the People’s Republic of Angola for admission to membership in the United Nations [S/12064]. Provisional agenda (S/Agenda/lMl) 1. Adoption of the agenda 2. Under the further provisions of rule 59, unless the Security Council decides otherwise, such applications shall be referred by the President to the Committee on the Admission of New Members. Accordingly, unless I hear a proposal to the contrary, I shall refer the application of the People’s Republic of Angola to the Committee on the Admission of New Members for examination and report. 2. Admission of new Members; Application of the People’s Republic of Angola for admission to Membership in the United Nations (S/ 12064) The meeting was called to order at 4.05 p.m. It was so decided. Adoption of the agenda The meeting rose at 4.10 p.m. The agenda was adopted.
