When the Security Council adjourned this morning it. was engaged in a discussion of the report which the Rapporteur and 1 prepared and put before the representatives of Pakistan and India [document S/667], and also in a consideration of the request of the Indian delegation for a defennent of tbis matter [document S/668]. There is indeed very little that anyone can usefullyadd to the presentation that has been made by the' representatives of India and Pakistan of their respective cases and to the very 'well informed discussion that has taken place in the Security Council.
