S/PV.2452 Security Council

This meeting of the Council has been convened in accordance with the request made by the representative of Morocco as Chairman of the Group of African States. 2. Members of the Council have before them document S/15815, which contains the text of a draft resolution worked out in the course of consultations of the Council. It is my understanding that the Council is ready to proceed to the vote on the draft resolution. If I hear no objection, I shall put it to the vote. A vote was taken by show of hands. The draft resolution was adopted unanimously (resolution 533 (1983)).

The Council has thus concluded the present stage of its consideration of the item on the agenda.
