The Security Council is
meetin.g in accordance with the understandinq reached in its prior consultations.
Members of the Council have before them the report of the Secretary-General on
the situation concerning Western Sahara, which is contained in document S/21360,
and Corr.l, where applicable. Members of the Council also have before them
document S/21376, which contains the text oE a draft resolution prepared in the
comse of the Council’s consultations.
It is my understandinq that the Council is ready to proceed to the vote on the
draft resolution before it. unless 1 hear any objection, T shall put the draft.
resolution to th\? vote now.
There beinq no ohfaction, it is so decided.
I shall now call on those members of the Council who wish to make statements
before the voting. Since no member wishes to speak, we shall proceed to the
votinq.
