The Security Council will now begin its consideration of the item on its agenda. The Security Council is meeting in accordance with the understanding reached in its prior consultations. Members of the Council have before them the further report of the Secretary-General pursuant to Security Council resolutions 757 (1992), 758 (1992) and 761 (1992), contained in documents 8/24263 and Add.l. Members of the Council also have before them document S/24267, which contains the text of a draft resolution prepared in the course of the Council's prior consultations. (The President.) I should like to draw the attention of Council members to paragraph 8 of the draft resolution. The phrase "respond positively to" in the penultimate line has inadvertently been omitted. Since the phrase was agreed upon in the Council's prior consultations, it should be reinstated. The line would then read as follows: ",.. and in particular to respond positively to the invitation eae, It is my understanding that the Council is ready to proceed to the vote on the draft resolution before it. Unless I hear any objection, I shall now put the draft resolution, as orally corrected, to the vote. There being no objection, it is so decided. A vote was taken by show of hands. In favour: Austria, Belgium, Cape Verde, China, Ecuador, France, Hungary, India, Japan, Morocco, Russian Federation, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, tMnited States cf America, Venezuela, Zimbabwe
