The PRESIDENT: The Security Council will now begin its cousideration of the item or its agende. mm 2 lebher cetred (C) June 19¢2 addressed to the Secretary-Generai, the Bees of "ivernumert of the Principality of Andorra submitted the application of hig tourter for membership in the United Nations. That letter has been circulated in document S/26039. Under the provisions of rule 59 of the provisional rules of procedure of the Security Council, unless the Council decides otherwise, an application for membership shail be referred by the President of the Council to the Committee on the Admission cf New Members. Accordingly, unless I hear a proposal to the contrary, I shaii refer the application of the Principality of Andorra to the Committee on the Admission of New Members for examination and report. As I hear no objection, it is so decided. I would propose that the Committee on the Admission of New Members schedule a meeting for tomorrow, 8 July 1993, at 10.30 a.m., in Conference Room 7, to consider the application of the Principality of Andorra for membership in the United Nations. The meeting rose at 5.10 p.m.
