S/PV.6414 Security Council

There were 15 votes in favour. The draft resolution has been adopted unanimously as resolution 1947 (2010). The Security Council has thus concluded the present stage of its consideration of the item on its agenda. As this may be the last Council meeting under the presidency of Uganda, I wish to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to all of my colleagues in the Council, who have extended most valuable cooperation to my delegation. I also wish to thank the team of the Security Council secretariat and all other United Nations Secretariat staff, who have worked behind the scenes to support the work of the presidency.
