Befûre l calI upot1J the representatives of Egypt and Israel to take their seats at the Couneil table, there is a procedural matier with which l think the Couneil should deal. At the present time, there are no draft resolutions before the Couneil on the important question now under consideration. It is important that the Council should speedily consider, if possible, the adoption of a suitable resolution, and l urge members of the Couneil to consider what l have jus.': suggested. l should add that the delegation of New Zealand is exploring the possibility of submitting a draft resolution. 2. Dnder present cireumstanees, since we are not in a position at the moment to deal with a draft resolution, l suggest to the Cauneil that our proceedings should be adjoumed to a date to he fixed by the President.
