My delegation joined in the adoption by consensus in the Second
Committee of the draft resolutions now appearing as VIII and XII in document A/34/635/Add.1. We wish to state that they now contain some elements of an historical nature.
The General Assembly has just now unanimously adopted the draft resolution formerly contained in document A/C.2/34/L.28, recommended by the Second Committee, concerning assistance for the reconstruction, rehabilitation and development of Uganda.
