In connection with the report of the Secretary-General on environment and human settlements contained in document A/53/463 and issued under item 30, I should like to assure members that the General Assembly will continue its consideration of the report in a fully open and transparent manner early next year. We have thus concluded this stage of our consideration of agenda item 30.
