The United States interprets paragraph 8 of the resolution just adopted as encouraging contacts between the international financial institutions and the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) secretariat, an action that we welcome. However, in many cases specific international financial institutions have not yet decided on what constitutes appropriate relations with individual ECO member States.…
