I shall now call on the representative of Israel, who wishes to speak in explanation of position on the resolution just adopted. May I remind delegations that explanations of vote or position are limited to 10 minutes and should be made by delegations from their seats.

My delegation joined the consensus on the draft resolution just adopted. We would like, however, to register our reservations with respect to the eighth preambular paragraph.
