We now turn to draft resolution A/57/L.6/Rev.1, entitled “Responding to global threats and challenges”.
I should like to announce that, since the publication of the draft resolution, Kyrgyzstan has become a co-sponsor of A/57/L.6/Rev.1.
May I take it that the Assembly decides to adopt draft resolution A/57/L.6/Rev.1.

I have taken the floor to explain Pakistan’s position on resolution 57/145 entitled “Responding to global threats and challenges”. My delegation supported the draft resolution (A/57/L.6/Rev.1) in view of our support for its objectives, which are consistent with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations.
