Postponement of the date of recess
The President
Members will recall that, at its 2nd plenary meeting, held on 17 September 2004, the General Assembly decided that the fifty-ninth session would recess on Tuesday, 14 December 2004. However, in view of the work that remains to be done for this part of the session, I would like to propose to the Assembly that it postpone the date of recess of the current session to Monday, 20 December 2004.
