It is my honour to speak today on behalf of the Frenchspeaking group. At the outset, I wish to express our utmost gratitude and sincere appreciation to the delegation of Senegal, and in particular to the Ambassador of Senegal, who coordinated the negotiations on resolution 63/306 on multilingualism, which we have just adopted by consensus.
