I wish to make the following oral technical correction to the twelfth preambular paragraph of draft resolution A/64/L.32. The reference to “protection of civilian persons in time of war” should be given initial capital letters.

I would like to recall that we had informed the Secretariat that the Group of 77 and China wishes to keep this agenda item open, since consultations continue on a draft resolution on international cooperation in humanitarian assistance in the field of natural disasters and the provision of development aid.
