1. At its 2307th meeting, on 10 November 1981, the Security Council had before it the application of Antigua and Barbuda (S/14742) for membership in the United Nations.
2. At its 69th meeting, on 10 November 1981, the Committee considered the application of Antigua and Barbuda and unanimously decided to recommend to the Security Council that the State in question be admitted to membership in the United Nations.
3. The Committee also decided to recommend that the Security Council apply the provisions of the last paragraph of rule 60 of the provisional rules of procedure.
4. The Committee therefore recommends to the Security Council the adoption of the following draft resolution:
The Security Council,
Having examined the application of Antigua and Barbuda for admission to membership in the United Nations (S/14742),
Recommends to the General Assembly that Antigua and Barbuda be admitted to membership in the United Nations.
