The Security Council, by the Secretary-General letter addressed to the President of the Security Council, Having examined the statement of the United Nations Observer Group in Central America (ONUCA) (S/21257) concerning the agreements signed in Managua on 19 April 1990 that envisage the complete demobilization of the Nicaraguan resistance by 10 June 1990, Reaffirming its resolutions 644 (1989) of 7 November 1989 and 650 (1990) of 27 March 1990, 1. Approves in the Secretary-General's proposals concerning the addition of new tasks to ONUCA's mandate contained in the letter of 19 April 1990 (S/21257) and in the above-mentioned statement (S/21259); 2. Requests the Secretary-General to report to the Security Council on all aspects of ONUCA's mandate before the expiry of the current mandate period on 7 May 1990.
