Noting the report of the Secretary-General on the United Nations operation in Cyprus of 9 June 1993 (S/25912 and Add.1)
Council extendNoting_alse the recommendation by the Secretary-General that Force inthe stationing of the United Nations Peace-keeping the Security Cyprus for a further period of six months the prevailing conditions in the island, of Cyprus has agreed that_ the Force inNotingfurther that the Government it is necessary to keep in view Of Cyprus beyond 15 June 1993_

Supportg the recommendation of the Secretary-General expressed in 348 of his report commitments, that both sides take reciprocal measures to lower the tension, including mutual through UNFICYP, those which are buffer to prohibit along the cease-fire lines also firing of weapons live ammunition or weapons other than hearing of the hand-held and to prohibit the Secretary-General within sight or zone and requested to negotiate the necessary agreements between the parties to implement these measures; Calls upon all the parties concerned to continue to cooperate with the Force on the basis of the present mandate; Calls on the intercommunal talks under the auspices of the Secretary-General and requests the Secretary-General to report on progress in the current round.
