I wish to express the hope that after this meeting the negotiations in Cyprus may move forward at a better pace, with better understanding and towards a spirit of less mistrust and more confidence between the two sides so that we can reach a reasonable solution within a unitary State as agreed upon, without the elements of division that would destroy it.
