Resolution 720 (1991)
of 21 November 1991
The Security Council,
Having considered the question of the recommendation for the appointment of the Secretary-
General of the United Nations,
Recommends to the General Assembly that Mr. Boutros Boutros-Ghali be appointed Secretary-General of the United Nations for a term of office from 1 January 1992 to 31 December 1996.
Adopted unanimously at the 3017th (closed)
meeting.
