I should now like to turn to agenda item 39, "Question of
peace, stability and co-operation in South-East Asia". As a result of
cons u1 ta tions, it is my under standing th at it would be des ir able to de fer
consideration of this item to the forty-second session of the General Assenbly.

I take it that it is the wish of the Assembly to defer consideration of this
item and to include it in the provisional agenda of the forty-second session.
It was so decided.
That concludes consideration of agenda item 39.
