Before calling on the next
speaker, I should like to make an announcement regarding some changes in the
tentative programme of work.
Tomorrow morning, Wednesday, 25 November, the Assembly will conclude the
debate on agenda item 38, "Question of Palestine". Action on the draft resolutions
on this item will be taken at a later date to be announced in the Journal. No
plenary meeting will be held tomorrow afternoon.
The morning of Friday, 27 November, the Assembly will take up agenda item 1,
-Notification by the Secretary-General under Article 12, paragraph 2 of the Charter
of the united Nations", and agenda item 40, "United Nations Conference for the
Promotion of International Co-operation in the Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy... ·
There will be no meeting on Friday afternoon. On Monday, 30 November, the
Assembly will consider the reports of the First and Third Committees.
