AS I have already stated, the meeting is adjourned. 22. All I ask is that he and others should be prepared to meet us and act with us in what he and they may regard as a limited advance. I do not ask them to change or retreat from their own judgements, but I do ask them to join with US in the practical advance we propose. They may feel that what we propose does not go far enough. At least I hope that they will accept that it is in the right direction.
