Co-ordination between the United Na- tions and the specialized agenciee: Pro- gramme of conferences at Headquarters and Geneva The General Assembly, Consider-ing the report' of the Secretary-General on the programme of conferences at Headquarters and Geneva prepared after consultation with the executive heads of the specialized agencies and the principal organs ff the United Nations concerned, Taking note of Economic and Social Council resolu- tion 458 (XIV) of 29 July 1952 and of the views ex- pressed by the members of the Trusteeship Council and by the executive heads of the specialized agencies with their headquarters in Europe, 1. Reaffirms its conviction that a regular pro- gramme should be prepared for the rational and eco- nomic distribution of United Nations conferences rnd meetings between the permanent Headquarters and the- United Nations Office at Geneva, making full use of the avai)able facilities ; • See document A/2243.
