Resolution 477 (1980) of 30 July 1980 The Security Council, Having examined the application of Zimbabwe for admission to the United Nations, Recommends to the General Assembly that Zimbabwe should be admitted to membership in the United Nations. Adopted unanimously at the 2244th meeting.
