32. Third United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea
The General Assembly will now consider agenda item 32. Under this item draft resolution A/32/L.48 has been distributed. The administrative and financial implications of that draft resolution are contained in the report of the Fifth Committee {A/32/487].
2. The Assembly will now take a decision on draft resolution A/32/L.48 entitled "Third United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea". I have been informed that it is the wish of the General Assembly to adopt the draft resolution by consensus. May I take it that the Assembly adopts the draft resolution?
The draft resolution was adopted (resolution 32/194).

International co-operation in the peaceful uses of outer space: report of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space Preparation of an international convention on principles governing the use by States of artificial earth satellites for direct television broadcasting: report of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space REPORT OF THE FIRST COMMITTEE (A/32/418) 3. Mr. CORREA (Mexico), Rapporteur of the First Com- mittee (interpretation from Spanish): I have the honour to submit to the General Assembly the report on the work of the First Committee on agenda items 35 and 36 of the 1753 A!32/PV.108 NEW YORK 4. The First Committee carried out a combined debate on the questions of international co-operation in the peaceful uses of outer space and the preparation of an international convention on principles governing the use by States of artificial earth satellites for direct television broadcasting. The work of the First Committee on both questions has been summed up in a single report. 5. In that report the First Committee recommends to the General Assembly the adoption of draft resolution I on the tenth anniversary of the entry into force of the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies, and a draft resolution I1, comprising two draft resolutions on international co- operation in the peaceful uses of outer space. These draft resolutions will be found in paragr~ph 11 of the document I have just mentioned. Pursuant to nJie 66 of the lules of procedure, it was decided llot to discuss the report of the First Committee.
The General Assembly will now take a decision on the three draft resolutions recommended by the First Committee in paragraph 11 of its report, documen t A/32/418.

Draft resolution I is entitled "Tenth anniversary of the entry into force of the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies". The First Committee adopted draft resolution I by consensus. May I consider that the General Assembly adopts draft resolution I'!

Draft resolution IJ is entitled "International Co-operation in the peaceful uses of outer space". We turn now to draft resolution II A. The report of the Fifth Committee on the administrative and financial implications of that draft resolution is contained in document A/32/474. The First Committee adopted draft resolution II A by consensus. May I consider that the Assembly decides to adopt draft resolution II A?
