The delegation of Trinidad and Tobago voted for the draft resolution because it supports very strongly the right of all peoples to self-determination. However, we believe that we must maintain the reseIvation which we expressed m CommitteeS because we believe that the wording of the draft resolution should have reflected a more balanced por'tion.
